Welcome to the argammix™ STEM-TO-STEAM-TO-STREAM exciting family of products!

The Argammix Group, LLC is a multidisciplinary group with experience and expertise in areas that include product design, product development, education, business, engineering-related fields, and visual art.

You may ask what the acronyms in “STEM-TO-STEAM-TO-STREAM” represent. For our purposes, the acronyms represent:

STEM = SCIENCE-TECHNOLOGY-ENGINEERING-MATH
STEAM = SCIENCE-TECHNOLOGY-ENGINEERING-ART-MATH
STREAM = SCIENCE-TECHNOLOGY-READING-ENGINEERING-ART-MATH

We have designed our “STEM-TO-STEAM-TO-STREAM” educational products in a unique way that integrates as many aspects of STEM, together in one learning activity; including an emphasis on ART and language arts, as represented by the READING component. Our products are created for teachers, students, parents, and technology enthusiasts. We aim to dispel the fear of learning technology by introducing it at an early age, as our products are appropriate for as early as age 13 through adulthood. We feel a sense of confidence will be instilled in students when they master our step-by-step approach to computer-aided design (3D modeling).

3D modeling is a computer activity most commonly executed individually. Even though our products are great for individual work, our products provide opportunity for collaborative learning as well. We recommend pairing students of different strengths in small groups of two. For example, pairing a student that excels in mathematics with a student that identifies as artistic, will give both students a chance to lead and to assist each other, in the learning process of both of our products. When the pair of students is working on argammix™ STEM-TO-STEAM-TO-STREAM POLYGONS IN GEOMETRY PART 1, the mathematically inclined student can lead in the step-by-step instructional process. When working on argammix™ STEM-TO-STEAM-TO-STREAM ABSTRACT FORMS, the artistically inclined student can lead. This collaborative model provides opportunities for cooperation, the sharing of ideas, problem-solving, the utilization of turn-taking skills, joint attention to detail, and communicative exchanges in the process of working together to complete tasks in order to achieve a common goal. In addition to designing abstract forms, students have the opportunity to demonstrate creativity in 3D designing sculptures that are perfect for seasonal and holiday fun!

We consider our educational products a gateway of inspiration to other areas of technology, as they can pave the way to interests in robotics, coding, web design, and graphic design. In other words, we believe our products can instill confidence and competence in students as they learn how to successfully 3D model in order to 3D print. This way of “making” and building is more innovative from previous methods of realizing ideas for objects when making them out of clay, craft sticks, and papier-mâché. By utilizing our products, 3D modeling is yet another exciting avenue for the development of technical skills for students of all ages; as our products can prepare students for careers in the fast-paced digital world. Early learning of 3D modeling can help to bridge the current skills gap in qualifications needed for many roles in technology jobs today. With proficiency in computer-aided design, students can aspire to careers in industrial design, product design, furniture design, lighting design, architecture, engineering, and more.

We recommend purchasing both argammix™ STEM-TO-STEAM-TO-STREAM POLYGONS IN GEOMETRY PART 1 and argammix™ STEM-TO-STEAM-TO-STREAM ABSTRACT FORMS in order to fully realize the computer-aided design learning experience that offers the potential for benefits involving so much more!
